Fertility Tool Box
There is an endless array of possible ways to improve your fertility. There is no "one size fits all" program that I believe will work for you. Rather, I believe that if you take time to educate yourself and develop your ability to listen to your own intuition, you can customize a program for yourself. You may benefit from consulting various specialists along the way and learning new strategies for self-care. Ultimately, if you can learn to calm the noise around you and listen receptively, you will find a path that best suits you. I am in the process of pulling together as many tools as possible for you to try on for size. Have fun exploring what I've posted so far...
Fertility Basics - Learning about your cycle can be an extremely powerful tool. There is much more you can understand than just when you ovulate and when is your most fertile time. Empower yourself with a wealth of information that can come from taking your temperature and more.
Improving Egg Quality - Whether you're trying to conceive naturally or you're pursuing medical interventions (IVF, etc.), if you're wishing to get pregnant with your own eggs, it's worth putting energy into optimizing your egg quality. This is especially relevant for women who are in their later reproductive years.
Affirmations - We can shift our counterproductive self-talk by actually practicing a more constructive flavor of self-talk. Affirmations can help us with this in a gentle and subtle manner. The magic of affirmations is in the quality of the content. I've shared some affirmations I wrote as I went through my fertility challenges, and I encourage you to practice creating your own to fit your style.
Miscarriage Support - Let's be honest. There is nothing fun about miscarriage. Not only can it be devastating and confusing, it can also feel very lonely. It's a hard topic, and I wasn't able to write this page until 18 months after my last miscarriage. I hope it helps someone through some tough times. Know that you are not alone.
Abbreviations - There's a whole lingo that becomes standard in the TTC community. I try to avoid excessive jargon, but some of it is woven into my vocabulary now. Here's a short list of common abbreviations.
